The Livestock Forage Disaster Program (LFP) is available for the following ND counties.

  • Billings
  • Dunn
  • Mckenzie
  • McLean
  • Mountrail
  • Williams

This program provides payment per head or acre for grazing losses due to drought. These counties are currently eligible for 3 months worth of payments, if the drought persists, they will automatically receive additional payments up to 5 months.

If you have any livestock producers who graze in these counties, please let them know this is available. If they have questions or would like assistance signing up have them contact their local FSA office or myself.
