Paula Tayer

Paula joined the Heritage team in 2023 as an insurance agent generating new sales and servicing new/existing client accounts in the Southeast, ND.  Paula has worked as an insurance agent for 28 years.  She started her career journey in the insurance industry in November 1995 with First National Insurance, continuing until 2006 when she joined Sargent County Insurance/Stock Growers Insurance. Following Heritage Insurance’s acquisition of Stock Growers Insurance, Paula transitioned to Heritage on January 2nd, 2023. With almost 29 years of experience as an Insurance Agent, I bring a wealth of knowledge and dedication to my role. Before her insurance career, she served as an Assistant Office Manager & Bookkeeper at Nelson Implement & Chevrolet Company in Milnor. Additionally, Paula devoted 20 years to coaching as the Assistant Girls’ Basketball Coach for the Milnor Bison.

Been happily married to her husband Brian for nearly 38 years. Together, they are proud parents to two wonderful daughters, Briana and Brooke. Briana is married to Brandon Spellerberg, and they reside on a farm near Lidgerwood with their two beautiful children, Jack and Bailey. Their other daughter, Brooke, lives in Wahpeton.

Outside of work, Paula’s greatest joy comes from spending time with family and friends, particularly her grandchildren, Jack and Bailey. She also indulge in various activities such as spending time at the lake, jogging, biking, swimming, and playing pickleball. Paula’s active involvement extends to the Milnor Lutheran Church, where she currently serve on the Church Council, contributing to her community in meaningful ways.
