Unavoidable Uninsured Fire (UUF)/3rd Party Damage Changes To APH Database for 2017 Production Reporting

RMA has added language to the 2018 Crop Insurance Handbook (CIH) which changes how certain uninsured causes of loss affect the APH database. In particular, damage due to Unavoidable Uninsured Fire (UUF) or a 3rd Party. This language can directly affect how damage from a UUF or 3rd Party will impact an insured’s APH database, including the reporting of 2017 production. It provides the insured the option of excluding such damaged acreage and prodcution from the APH database.
