Factors for Motorcycle Insurance and ATV Insurance Premiums

The following factors can affect your insurance premiums:

  • Age
  • Driving experience
  • Driving record
  • Credit score
  • Financial stability
  • Type of cycle/ATV
  • Engine size
  • Value of the cycle/ATV 


Settlement Options:

  • Total Loss Replacement-
    Replaces insured’s camper, motorcycle, or ATV with a brand new one of similar make and quality.

  • Actual Cash Value-
    Subtracting depreciation from replacement cost.

  • Agreed Value-
    In the event of a loss the stated amount is paid without any adjustment for depreciation or appreciation.


Coverage:

  • Bodily Injury/Property Damage Liability- includes passenger liability
  • Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage
  • Medical Payments- be sure this limit is enough to cover a driver and a passenger as it is a total amount, not per person.


Optional Coverage:

  • Accessory coverage
  • Transport Trailer coverage
  • Roadside Assistance
  • Comprehensive and Collision coverage
  • Trip Interruption
  • Rental Vehicle coverage
  • On-road coverage for off-road vehicles



Factors for Camper Insurance or RV Insurance Premiums

The following factors that can affect premiums:

  • Type of camper
  • Value of the camper


Settlement options:

  • Total Loss Replacement- 
    Replaces insured’s camper with a brand new one of similar make and quality.

  • Actual Cash Value-
    Subtracting depreciation from replacement cost.

  • Agreed Value-
    In the event of a loss the stated amount is paid without any adjustment for depreciation or appreciation.


Coverage:

  • Vacation Liability- 
    Provides liability coverage where the camper is parked and unhooked from the auto that pulled it.  Be careful, as this is not always included!

  • Physical Damage- 
    Please refer to the three settlement options above, of (1) Total Loss Replacement, (2) Actual Cash Value, and (3) Agreed Value.
