Sales Agent 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Seeking out new clients and developing clientele by creating a list of prospects through networking
  • Performing tasks such as maintaining records and policy renewals
  • Understanding which insurance companies to quote with based on the customers wants and needs
  • Know all of the bases between selling property and casualty insurance, as well as crop and hail insurance.
  • Being able to inspect the insured’s property and deciding if it is a good insurance risk.
  • Be able to come up with creative marketing ideas and actively compete with other agencies or individuals that sell insurance.
  • Attention to detail when working with claims
  • Completes coverage by delivering policy, planning future follow-up visits, and evaluations of needs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

If you think you are right for this role, you will need to be able to:

  • Obtain and maintain a State Property & Casualty insurance sales license within 60 days from the start of licensing coursework. 
  • We will provide training and pay for the licensing exam your first time

Customer Service Rep

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Proven customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems
  • Ability to explain product features and service advantages to existing and potential customers.
  • Ability to navigate through our agency management system and multiple other computer applications
